Phoenix Group struck its first arc in August of 2004 and has been going full steam ahead ever since. By year's end, the new Texas division had already fabricated two 17 ft ID x 20 ft tall titanium grade 2 storage tanks, a zirconium heat exchanger, a titanium heat exchanger, a titanium upflow tower (8 ft ID x 96 ft long), and titanium grade 2 piping for local clients along the gulf coast.

The facility itself is new, but the employees are not. Our General Manager, Estimating Manager, Shop Supervisor and each of our welders worked exclusively with zirconium, titanium, & tantalum at Phoenix Metallurgical for many years.

For those of you that have been long-time customers of the old Phoenix, we welcome you to our new facility where you will see many of the same faces. You get to benefit from years of reactive metal welding and fabrication experience to which you have grown accustomed, with the strong financial backing of Ti-Fab, a company solely dedicated to reactive metals since 1972.

Phoenix now draws upon the stock material supply of all three locations, and has much greater purchasing power on raw materials. We can also rely on engineering & estimating manpower of all three divisions, the largest field service capabilities in the world, and the great reputation of service after the sale which only Ti-Fab can provide.
