Titanium Fabrication Corporation

Service Center Capabilities

Titanium Fabrication Corporation has the capabilities to cut material by shearing, sawing, torch cutting, and water jet cutting. We have the capability to machine disks and rings, rectangular shapes, and complex shapes, and can form material by press brake, plate roll, and bar forming and tube bending and forming equipment. We can provide rolled and welded cylinders or seamless forged rings or disks. We can accurately waterjet or machine cut rectangular bar from plate.

Preprocessing

Our capabilities go far beyond just supplying regular shapes.

You can utilize our extensive capabilities to pre-process your material to simplify your manufacturing operations and reduce your manufacturing cycle and inventory cost.

Preprocessing also reduces your risk by assuring that the material you purchase is in exactly the form you need for your first manufacturing step.

Because we are also a fabricator of custom built equipment, we have first class, high quality welding capabilities. We can provide ASME partial Data Reports where required.

Some special welding capabilities include GTAW and PAW seam welding equipment that can produce extremely consistent and high quality welds in sheet material down to 0.025" x and up to 154" length. Our high current GTAW equipment can weld 3/4" plate in a single pass with a square butt joint, ideal for reducing cost of heavy rolled and welded cylinders and shells.

Our machine shop regularly produces complex parts in all industrial titanium alloys as single custom parts or in larger production quantities.

Mill Products

Titanium Fabrication Corporation stocks a wide variety of titanium mill products for its own use. In addition, Titanium Fabrication Corporation has a continuous flow of titanium metal on order from producing mills in anticipation of future business.

This means we often have full sized (96" x 240") plates and sheets (48" x 120") as well as many other products available from stock or for delivery in a short time. Review our stock lists to see if we normally carry what you need, but contact us to check even if you don't see the item you seek.

We also maintain a list of overstock or surplus items such as unusual welding fittings that may be just what you are looking for. Contact us for a current list of overstock material.

Value

We are one of the largest volume purchasers of titanium for industrial corrosion applications in the world. This gives us excellent leverage and purchasing power for the grades commonly used in industrial applications.

We source on a worldwide basis from all major mill producers of titanium mill products and can take advantage of differences in market conditions, exchange rates, and tariffs.

We have an excellent scrap recovery program, which allows us to maximize the value of scrap generated in first cutting operations. This value is passed on to you in the form of a reduction in cost for the raw material you require.

When you have a need for titanium raw material quickly, you can take advantage of this flow of metal and of our capabilities to perform first stage processing to reduce your costs and improve the efficiency of your own manufacturing process.

Specifications

All of our material is purchased to ASTM and ASME Specifications in the most widely utilized standard corrosion resistant grades. We stock most products in unalloyed titanium, Gr. 2, but often have other grades as well.

Tolerances

We have the tools and know how to can cut and prefinish material to more exacting tolerances than most service centers because we are in the

fabricating business ourselves. Precision first step processing can often eliminate expensive cutting allowances and first step processing in your own plant, eliminating handling of scrap in the process.
